The strain on the anchors would likely be too great for the system to sustain if straight pipe portions between pipe anchors increased without additional flexibility. If there are no anchors and the pipe warms up due to thermal expansion, the pipe will expand and flex between the fixed anchors, crippling, buckling, or cracking the pipe. This damage might cause enormous heat stress to build up on the anchors, leading them to collapse. If expansion joints are installed between the anchors and the pipe heats up and expands, the Expansion Bellow Hose will compress to accommodate the movement while putting minimum thermal strain on the anchors. As a result, using metal Expansion Bellow Hose to manage pipe thermal expansion is a viable option. Thermal expansion is absorbed by the expansion bellow hose.
